Avon, CO – Town of Avon municipal offices will close at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24 and remain closed on Thursday, December 25 and Friday, December 26 in observance of the Christmas holiday. Municipal offices will reopen on Monday, December 29.
A similar closure will occur the following week during the New Year’s holiday with municipal offices closing at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31 and remaining closed Thursday, January 1 and Friday, January 2. All offices reopen on Monday, January 5.
The Avon Recreation Center will have reduced hours over the holidays, as follows:
- Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24 – Open: 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (pools open 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
- Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25 – Closed
- New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31 – Open: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (pools open 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.)
- New Year’s Day, Thursday, January 1 – Open: 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (pools open 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.)
Transit services will operate uninterrupted.
