A Freeze Warning is in effect until 10 o’clock this morning. Another Freeze Warning goes into effect at midnight tonight until tomorrow morning. Temperatures in the teens are expected tonight.

Snow is in the forecast for early today.

Yesterday, Breckenridge said they will close for the season this Sunday. Copper said they will stay open longer than expected.  May 3rd.  They were shooting for April 26th…now they say they can go longer. Loveland will close on the 26th. Aspen will close this Sunday.

In Chaffee County, they are looking for a missing turkey hunter.  27-year old Kaden Sites from Salida was last seen on Wednesday afternoon.  They found his truck Wednesday evening near a local trailhead.  His cell phone was found in his truck. Local search teams with dogs and drones, helicopters, a fixed-wing aircraft and a large number of searchers on foot have been looking for the man with no luck so far. Sites is described as being 6 feet, 2 inches tall, 160 pounds, and light brown hair with a moustache and goatee.

Scott Wedgewood stops 22 shots, Avs beat Kraken 2-0 to break franchise’s single-season points mark. Colorado rested several key players in the season finale, including Nathan MacKinnon, Martin Necas and captain Gabriel Landeskog. Coach Jared Bednar was back behind the bench for Colorado. He missed the team’s recent two-game trip after being hit in the face by a puck last weekend.

The Colorado Avalanche will face off against the Los Angeles Kings in the First Round of the playoffs starting this Sunday.

The Denver Nuggets will host Minnesota in Game One of the playoffs on Saturday afternoon.
