Young Dubliners Rock The Tabor Opera House

A concert to benefit the Leadville Irish Miners’ Memorial & the Tabor Opera House Preservation Foundation produced with Shack Club & GBB&L Foundation.

This weekend, Leadville celebrates half-way to St Patrick’s day, with events benefitting the Leadville Irish Miners’ Memorial and the Tabor Opera House Preservation Foundation. The annual practice St. Patrick’s day parade down Harrison Avenue kicks off at noon on Saturday and at 7pm the Young Dubliners take the stage at the Tabor Opera House for a benefit concert. As Keith Roberts of the Young Dubs said, “Not since Oscar Wilde has a Dubliner been this excited to take that stage.”

On Sunday at 11 am, there will be a dedication of a new sculpture recently added to the Irish Miners’ Memorial, with tours of the pauper’s section of Leadville’s Evergreen Cemetery, along with a reading of the 1300 plus names the memorial has identified and continues to honor.
