Everyone seems to be asking the same question about the winter, “have you ever seen it like this?”
And this is what we know today:
Currently, as of 12:00 a.m. on January 8th snowpack statewide is 63 percent of median.
59% in the Colorado River Basin. Vail Mountain is at 50%.
These are actually better numbers than we had last month on the same day.
2018 seems the most comparable year. Right now, it looks like about the same for 2026.
