The Harry A. Nottingham East Park Improvements construction project will resume on May 18, 2026. The project will develop a new restroom facility, plaza, rain shelter, and seating wall to support park uses across all seasons at the Old Town Hall site (1 Lake Street). The project also includes site grading, electrical infrastructure updates, a modified parking layout, and landscaping to support special events and prepare the area for future development.
Construction is anticipated to commence on May 18, 2026, and is expected to be completed by October 11, 2026. The public should be aware that recreation trail closures around the site may take place periodically. The lower parking lot at the site will be generally available for use by the public, the upper lot will be partially open to the public for the duration of the summer.
