Over the last 25 years, KZYR and our listeners have raised tens of thousands of pounds of turkeys and money for the local food pantries for their annual Thanksgiving food baskets.
This year, we’ve teamed with the Gallegos Corporation to gather up thousands of pounds again. Every year the need is greater.
This year again, we’ve made it easy. You can give us a “virtual bird” by donating online. 100% of the proceeds and 100% of our sponsorship dollars goes directly to our local food pantries. You can also drop off a frozen bird (or a whole flock) at our studios, the local Community Market Food Pantry in Edwards or the Salvation Army in EagleVail.
Help us help all of our neighbors to have a fantastic Thanksgiving this year.
**live turkeys are NOT recommended. Weez had an incident with one running wild in the studio some years ago and has suffered PTSD ever since. He eats ribeye on Thanksgiving as a result**
