Join the fun in Vail from June 5 – 8

The GoPro Mountain Games is a four-day festival of adventure sports, music, and art held annually in Vail, Colorado. The event features competitions in various disciplines like kayaking, mountain biking, running, climbing, and more, along with music performances and art installations. It’s a family-friendly event that attracts both professional and amateur athletes, as well as spectators.

Outside sports, exhibitions, music and vendor booths are a big part of the GoPro Mountain Games. A wide range of adventure sports competitions, including whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, trail running, climbing, slacklining, make the GoPro Games a great hang.

The GoPro Mountain Games offers a lineup of live music performances, including concerts at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater (The Amp) and daytime music in Vail Village.

Incorporating art installations, demonstrations, and films, there is plenty to keep spectators (and their dogs) moving around all day. There are competitions for our canine friends as well, always a crowd favorite.

The GoPro Games are hosted by the Vail Valley Foundation, a non-profit organization that also focuses on arts, athletics, and education within the Vail Valley community.

The event has a strong focus on youth participation, with “grom” categories (ages 12-18) in many events and discounted registration for groups of grom athletes.

New events this year include: YETI Speed Climbing and the Vail Ultra benefiting 50 For the Fallen, The CoLab Creator Stage, showcasing live music, art and athlete integrations, an inaugural Mountain Games Athlete Team, which includes athletes from various mountain sports disciplines.
