A new scam is being reported around resort towns. Asking people to wire money to a stranger for long or short term rentals. Some things to watch out for: the listing has typos or poor grammar, they want you to move in without seeing the property, the price is too good or they want the money right away. Law enforcement is reminding folks to be very careful in transferring funds for rent to anyone you don’t know via apps like venmo or by wiring money.
The Breckenridge Ski Patrol Union says they may picket this Sunday if they don’t get a new deal done with Vail Resorts. They won’t strike. Patrollers will still show up if they’re on the schedule. But, off-duty union members may picket. They have a bargaining session with Vail Resorts today.
State Sen. Dylan Roberts says he’ll run again for the Colorado Senate. Roberts’ represents Senate District 8. That’s Clear Creek, Eagle, Garfield, Gilpin, Grand, Jackson, Moffat, Rio Blanco, Routt, and Summit counties.
The new automated speed cameras are up and running in Vail and Avon. There’s a 30-day warning period that’s almost expired on the camera by Safeway in West Vail. The others will go online and start handing out tickets in the next few weeks. Notices of violation will be mailed to the vehicle owner based on license plate numbers.
Nikola Jokic had 55 points and 12 rebounds and the Denver Nuggets beat the Los Angeles Clippers 130-116 last night. That is now 6 in-a-row for the Nuggets. Jokic scored 25 of Denver’s 39 points in the first quarter.
The Broncos have resigned receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey off the New York Giants’ practice squad. Humphrey is expected to play this Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. He didn’t arrive in Denver until last night. He’ll practice with the team today and says he has a solid understanding of Denver’s offense.

The girls had a police escort out of Edwards yesterday en route to the Front Range.
The Battle Mountain Cross Country team is having their annual fundraiser at Main Street Grill in Edwards tonight from 5-8pm. There’ll be a silent auction as well. The kids are raising money to compete in the NRX Regionals in Arizona next weekend (11/22).
