The Avon Performance Pavilion, at Harry A, Nottingham Park, will be the place to be on August 2nd, 16th, 23rd and 30th, to enjoy live music, cold beer, distilled spirits, an eclectic collection of local food vendors, and amazing sunsets, for the Avon LIVE! Concerts in the Park series, now in its third year. All Avon LIVE! Concerts are free to the public.

The Iguanas will kick things off, on August 2nd, as the headliner for the first of the four Avon LIVE! Concerts. The Iguanas are redefining the sound of ‘Americana’ by including the Franco-Acadian inflections of Canada, blues and jazz, and the lilting grace and fiery passion of music from Mexico, for mix of sounds and styles.

Davina & the Vagabonds will open for The Iguanas. With influences ranging from the Preservation Hall Jazz Band to Aretha Franklin and Tom Waits, Davina & the Vagabonds are creating a stir on the national music scene with their high–energy live shows and commanding stage presence.

“The Avon LIVE! Concerts in the Park have created a vibrant community gathering over the past two years,” said Mayor Jennie Fancher. “The Town of Avon is thrilled to again be presenting another music series for our residents and guests.”

The Town of Avon is the Avon LIVE! Concerts in the Park presenting sponsor. Additional sponsorship support is provided by The Mile, Coors, US Bank and the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa, the award-winning resort that is home to Maya by Chef Richard Sandoval, Spa Anjali and an Athletic Club offering more than 60 group exercise classes per week.
