Bonfire Brewing and Optimum Events will announce more details
of the two-day beer and music street party, slated for Friday, June 2 and
Saturday, June 3 in downtown Eagle at a Pre-Block Party Announcement Shindig
that gets underway at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 at Bonfire Brewing in
Eagle and features the Denver-based Robby Wicks Band. The third-annual
Block Party showcases main stage and side stage acts along with food vendors
and Bonfire Brewing craft beer releases each day. Pre-Block Party Shindig
attendees will be able to pre-purchase a two-day Block Party wristband with
a branded Block Party SiliPint for the June event at the discounted price of
$20 on Saturday. Admission to the Announcement Shindig is free.
The Block Party’s main stage headliners for Friday, June 2 are funk masters
lineup will feature well-known music that’s sure to please and will be
announced at the Shindig on April 15. The Bonfire Block Party admission is
$5 per day with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Eagle County nonprofit
partner Cycle Effect which hosts an onsite bike valet during the weekend’s
family-friendly event. Block Party SiliPints are priced at $15 and sold-out
in less than 90 minutes at the 2016 event.
Colorado’s Robby Wicks Band (RWB) produces soulful rock and is known for
intricate musicianship and camaraderie that results in well-crafted and
energetic live shows. RWB members Wicks (guitar, vocals) and Taylor Biskup
(guitar) have shared the stage with Vince Neil, Hot Buttered Rum, Seven Mary
Three, STS9 and Dilated Peoples among others.
