Zephyr listeners Karen and Casey who are currently on an extended vacation in France sent us some awesome shots of the Zephyr online livestream playing in their hotel room in Montpellier! Karen said they’ve been listening to KZYR a lot during their trip since all the radio and TV stations there are in French, and The Zephyr gives them a taste of home.
The cathedral in the background of the shot is St. Pierre’s, a national landmark of France and the seat of the Archbishops of Montpellier. First build in 1364, the church was elevated to the status of cathedral in 1536, but suffered extensive damage during the Wars of Religion between Catholics and Protestants in the 16th century and was rebuilt in the 17th.
