Spirits were high today as Vail Mountain had its last hurrah for the 2013-2014 ski season. Crowds swelled at the World Pond Skimming Championships (pictured above) where the Zephyr’s own Tony Mauro lent his announcing skills to the competition from a spot at the start of the run. The Zephyr’s logo was everywhere on brightly colored Spring Back to Vail stickers, many of which were numbered as part of KZYR’s Superfan contest in which 108 wound up being the lucky number to win a pair of Liberty skis!


Retro costumes were the norm on the slopes today – the more brightly colored, the better:

The Solaris venue was full to the max as Steel Pulse took the stage for a free reggae concert:


The crowd loved the show – even the Easter Bunny himself stopped by to jam to some great reggae music:


Overall, it was a wonderful Easter and fabulous closing day. We’ll see you back on the slopes next year!
