Dress warmly & bring your own snowshoes if you have some. Please register in advance especially if you need snowshoes provided.

Participants will sign in, get a free glass of bubbly, and be able to bid in the silent auction at Garfinkel’s starting at 5 PM.  The auction will end at 6:30 PM and remaining participants at Garfinkel’s will grab their hot chocolate and picnics to ride the gondola to the top of the mountain for the snowshoe.   All participants are asked to download prior to the gondola closing at 9 PM.  When participants are ready to leave they will need to stop at the bottom to return their snowshoes and receive their take-away swag and any auction items before heading out.

Snowshoe Route

The route begins at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola where participants will hike along Eagle’s Nest ridge to the top of chair 2, or the top of chair 3 as their heart desires. For the brave-of-heart, continue to the top of chair 4 along Windows Road. Just be sure to leave enough time to hike back to the gondola before it closes at 9 p.m.

Option 1: Eagles Nest to top of Chair 2 (Avanti Express) – 1.7 mile round trip, 430 feet elevation gain
(est. 40-60 minutes)
Option 2: Eagles Nest to top of Chair 3 (Wildwood Express) – 2.6 mile round trip, 670 feet elevation gain
(est. 45-90 minutes)

Only for the Brave of Heart: (continue on the blue route to chair 4)
Option 3: Eagles Nest to top of Chair 4 (Mountaintop Express) – 4.1 mile round trip, 900 feet elevation gain
(est. 90-120 minutes)

Note: The road from the top of chair 3 to the top of chair 4 will be unsupported.  If you do not know the way to chair four, or if you are a novice at snowshoeing or skinning, please turn around at chair three.  We take participant safety very seriously and want everyone to have a fun and safe evening.
