Beaver Creek Snow Alert: Up to a Foot of Snow Forces World Cup Downhill Training Cancellation
Beaver Creek, Colo. Dec. 4, 2013- The powerful winter storm blasting the U.S. has forced the cancellation of the Audi Birds of Prey men’s downhill training run at Beaver Creek today. Overnight and throughout the morning up to a foot of snow has fallen and Mother Nature is not finished yet.
Officially Beaver Creek reported five inches of snow at 5 a.m. but the storm hasn’t let up and continues to blanket the slopes in fluffy white powder.
